Role Summary
The Marketing Manager will lead Born To Playβs marketing efforts across all channels, blending strategic planning with creative execution to grow brand awareness, audience engagement, and sales. This role manages a Social Media Manager, works closely with the Video Production team, and collaborates with the CEO and Chief Content Officer to ensure consistent and impactful brand storytelling. Responsibilities span traditional marketing, digital campaigns, influencer programs, trade show execution, and sales support.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
β’ Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, retail, events, and trade shows.
β’ Oversee content strategy and ensure brand voice and visuals are consistent across all platforms.
β’ Manage marketing budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
Media & Influencer Relations
β’ Maintain relationships with industry and global media; draft and distribute timely pitches.
β’ Manage press lists, media samples, and award submissions.
β’ Build and oversee influencer programs, including product seeding, press kits, and asset coordination.
Sales & Trade Marketing
β’ Create and maintain sales pitch decks that align with brand standards.
β’ Coordinate marketing assets for sales teams, including product photography, videos, and social content.
β’ Serve as primary contact for all trade show registrations, booth design, logistics, and schedules.
β’ Ensure timely delivery of product samples to trade shows and other events.
β’ Manage the deployment and maintenance of digital assets for our direct and distributor managed ecommerce listings
Team Leadership & Collaboration
β’ Manage and mentor the Social Media Manager.
β’ Partner with the Video Production team to develop engaging visual content.
β’ Collaborate closely with the CEO, Chief Content Officer, and other cross-functional teams to align marketing with business goals.
Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in toys, childrenβs entertainment, or consumer products.
β’ Proven experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and teams.
β’ Skilled in leveraging technology systems to manage workflows and measure results.
β’ Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media management tools, and marketing analytics platforms.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
